Karim Benzema and his baby mama Cora Gauthier are still on good terms. Benzema invited his baby mother to last night’s special event where she saw her spouse win the coveted trophy, Ballon d’Or.
The former couple shares a son named Ibrahim Benzema, and the 5-year-old son was there to see his father win the Ballon d’Or on Monday night.
The French forward made headlines last night, as at age 34, he became the oldest player to win the prestigious award, Ballon d’Or. He clinched the award at the ceremony held in Paris’ Theatre Du Chatelet.
Benzema came ahead of the Bayern forward, Sadio Mane, and Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne. He became the only fifth French forward to win the trophy and the ninth Real Madrid player since 2000.
